How Shot Caddie works

Shot Caddie is designed around one idea: load the bottles you actually have, then let the system show what you can make and pour it consistently.

1) Load your spirits & mixers

Choose up to 16 spirits, liqueurs, juices, and mixers. Assign each slot a label so Shot Caddie knows what’s available. This is the foundation for recipe matching and smart suggestions.

Build a “party” setup (vodka/rum/tequila + juices)
Build a “cocktail” setup (liqueurs + citrus + mixers)
Change bottles quickly without re-learning the whole system

2) See what you can make (recipe matching)

Once your bottles are loaded, Shot Caddie can surface shots and cocktails that match your current inventory. You can also allow practical substitutions (example: swapping a similar rum or vodka flavor when a recipe calls for something specific).

3) Calibrate for consistent pours

Drinks pour differently depending on viscosity and tubing setup. Shot Caddie is built around calibration so you can dial in reliable timing (spirits vs. juices, etc.) and get repeatable pours.

5) Optional AI-enabled mixologist

Want ideas? The AI-enabled experience can suggest recipes you can make from what’s loaded, recommend swaps, and help you discover combinations — while still keeping you in control.
